I have been a member of the BPS for over 25 years and elected to Fellow in January 2013. I am currently the Director of Studies of the BSc in Medical Pharmacology at Cardiff University School of Medicine. My research interests have always been in the field of endothelial/vascular smooth muscle biology and function. More recently I have been carrying out British Heart Foundation-funded studies regarding mechanisms of vascular dysfunction in rheumatoid arthritis.
